Uzbek State University of World Languages will host an international scientific-practical conference on “The Development of the Spanish Language in Uzbekistan: Historical Context, New Opportunities and Modern Trends” on October 24, 2025.

The conference will feature the following sections:

1. Effective methods of teaching Spanish based on international experience;

2. The relevance of the Spanish language in Uzbekistan and Central Asia: historical, economic, social, and cultural contexts;

3. Modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and multilingualism in foreign language learning;

4. Current issues in linguistics, foreign literary studies, and cultural-linguistic research;

5. Contemporary issues in translation studies: linguistic and cultural aspects (equivalence, adequacy, literal and free translation, audiovisual translation, dubbing, subtitling, etc.).
