2026-08-26 04-57 Nargiza Alimovna Makhmudova has been appointed Head of the Master’s Degree Department at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Acting Head of the Department of Linguistics and English Literature and Professor at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
Nargiza Makhmudova was born on February 27, 1980, in Tashkent. In 2001, she completed her bachelor’s degree, and in 2003, her master’s degree at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. She also studied at Tashkent State Technical University named after Beruni in 2007. Her specializations are Theory and Practice of Translation (English) and Management. She holds a PhD in Philological Sciences and is an Associate Professor.
Throughout her professional career at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, she has served as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, and head of department.
