Mahzuna Tursunovna Hamdamova Appointed to a New Position

Another appointment has been made at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Mahzuna Tursunovna Hamdamova has been appointed Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Prior to this appointment, she served as Head of the Department of Theoretical Aspects of English No. 3 at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Mahzuna Hamdamova was born on December 16, 1979, in Shofirkon District, Bukhara Region. In 2010, she graduated from Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University with a degree in German and English.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc), Associate Professor.

She has many years of professional experience in the education system and has held various teaching and leadership positions.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1999–2012 — Teacher of German and English at School No. 206 in Yashnobod District.

2012–2014 — Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at Chilanzar Academic Lyceum under Tashkent State University of Economics.

2014–2017 — Principal of School No. 206 in Yashnobod District, Tashkent.

2017–2018 — Head of the Department for Work with and Selection of Managerial Personnel at the Tashkent City Main Department of Preschool Education.

2018–2021 — Head of the Human Resources Department at the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Directors and Specialists of Preschool Education Organizations; Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education Management.

2021 — Acting Associate Professor at the Department of Preschool Education Pedagogy and Psychology, Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University.

2021–2022 — Acting Dean of the Faculty of Preschool Education, Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University.

2022–2025 — Dean of the Faculty of Preschool Education, Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University.

2025 — Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical English Language Disciplines, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

2026–Present — Head of the Department of Theoretical Aspects of English No. 3, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
