Awards and Congratulations Held During the Council Meeting

On April 30, 2026, during the Council meeting of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, a number of teachers, staff members, and students were duly recognized.

Library specialist of the 2nd category at the Information Resource Center, Xolmurodova Saida Kayumovna, was warmly congratulated on her 80th birthday.

In addition, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 8, 2026, Isakulova Nilufar Janikulovna was awarded the badge “Devotee of Culture and Arts.”

The university’s high achievements in international rankings were also specially noted. In recognition of these accomplishments, the Rector of the university, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, was awarded special certificates.

Student Sirojiddinova Maftuna Nodirbek kizi from the Faculty of English Language 1, a bronze medalist of the Uzbekistan Women’s Table Tennis Championship, was honored for achieving 3rd place.

The university team was also awarded in the “Most Disciplined Team (Fair Play)” category at the Minister’s Cup football competition among female students held on April 21–23 at Termez State University.

The women’s university team was specially recognized for winning 1st place in the field hockey competition among female students held on April 7–9 under the “Minister’s Cup.”

In addition, the following individuals were awarded certificates of appreciation for their initiative in organizing the competitions:

Second-year basic doctoral students who successfully participated in the final stage of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Scholarship program:

were awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

These achievements were recognized as a clear result of the university’s efforts in developing sports, science, and supporting talented youth.
