On October 4, a roundtable discussion titled “Be Aware, We Youth Are Against Corruption” was held at UzSWLU.

The event was attended by Valijon Sadiyev, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Bahodir Hoshimov, Head of the Department for Managing the Anti-Corruption Compliance System, university administration representatives, professors, and students.

Speakers at the event discussed how, in recent years, the fight against corruption has been elevated to the level of state policy in our country and the measures being implemented.

Additionally, information was provided about the availability of hotlines for reporting corruption-related offenses, their negative consequences for students, and the importance of informing about such cases through the university's official social media channels.

The responsibilities stipulated in legislation regarding corruption-related offenses among staff and faculty were also mentioned.

The event continued in the second half of the day at the university's premises located at 4 Zakovat Street.
