Business Trip of the Delegation of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages University  to Italy

On May 14, a farewell ceremony was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages for the university delegation before their official visit to Italy.

The university rector, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, took part in the event and met with the members of the delegation. Before their departure, the rector provided his recommendations and emphasized the importance of active participation on behalf of the university in strengthening international cooperation and studying advanced practices in the field of translation.

From May 14 to 21, 2025, the delegation members will visit the Universities of Milan, Bergamo, and Insubria in the Republic of Italy. During the visit, the parties will discuss expanding international collaboration, developing new projects within the Erasmus+ program, exchanging experiences in translator training, and deepening cooperation.

The delegation includes the following members:

• Ulugbek Yo‘ldoshev – Dean of the Faculty of Translation;

• Kamola Qodirova – Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Arabic Translation;

• Bahora Ergasheva – Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Italian Translation;

• Xusnobod Khushvaqtova – Professor at the Department of Ecology and Green Resources.

This visit represents another significant step by the Uzbekistan State  World Languages University towards expanding scientific and academic cooperation on the international stage and modernizing translation education.
