2026-10-08 12-21 COMBATING DRUG ADDICTION — A STEP TOWARDS A HEALTHY FUTURE
A preventive event was organized at the faculty in order to communicate the essence and significance of Decree No. PF–207 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 3, 2025, “On Comprehensive Measures to Effectively Protect Public Health and the Nation’s Gene Pool from Drug Addiction and Drug-Related Crime” to students.
The event was attended by M. Yuldosheva, a specialist at IPMBIB, who provided detailed information on preventing drug addiction and drug-related crimes among young people, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and raising awareness of the negative impact of drugs on human health and society.
In addition, a drawing contest entitled “Combating Drug Addiction — A Step Towards a Healthy Future” was held among students. Through their creative works, the students portrayed the negative consequences of drug use and promoted the importance of a healthy and prosperous lifestyle.
At the end of the event, young people were encouraged to spend their free time meaningfully, engage in regular physical activity, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and stay away from harmful habits.
