In accordance with the cooperation agreement concluded between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the University of Salento (Italy), the University of Salento has awarded grants to 15 students majoring in Italian at UzSWLU to pursue distance learning in winter schools on audiovisual translation.

The course will last for three months, and upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded certificates and official statements. At present, discussions are also underway regarding the allocation of grants by the University of Salento to enable Italian language instructors of UzSWLU to undertake professional development through on-site summer schools.
