Cooperation between UNESA and UzSWLU

Guli Ergasheva, Dean of the Faculty of English Language – 1 at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), and Oygul Tokhtakulova, a lecturer at the Department of Integrated English Course – 1, paid an official visit to one of Indonesia’s prestigious higher education institutions — Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA).

The visit aimed to further strengthen international cooperation between UzSWLU and UNESA. As part of the visit, they attended the EduFun Wey Languages Fair – 2026, where the LabSchool established under UNESA participated with its exhibitions, contributing to the enhancement of pedagogical skills of UzSWLU students. The parties also exchanged views on future cooperation prospects, including the establishment of student professional internship programs between the universities. An official agreement was reached regarding the admission of LabSchool graduates to the first year of study at UzSWLU.

G. Ergasheva is participating in the international training program “International Community Development (ICD) – Community Training and Village Mentoring Program”, jointly organized by UNESA and LPDP. In the coming days of the program, a visit to Bondowoso Regency, Kalianya small province in East Java, Indonesia, is expected.

Cooperation between the two higher education institutions is developing steadily, and the implementation of broader joint projects is planned for the future.
