Cooperation Between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

Today, a productive cooperation meeting was held between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).

The meeting was attended by Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of UzSWLU; G. Ergasheva, Dean of the Faculty of English Philology No. 1; V. Amanov, Senior Specialist of the International Cooperation Department; as well as Professor Dr. Didi Sukyadi, Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and Professor Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance.

During the meeting, the following key issues were discussed:

• Conducting joint scientific research and co-authorship opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals;

• Implementation of joint educational programs and academic mobility projects;

• Opportunities for professional development of faculty members;

• Organization of Summer/Winter Camp programs.

The outcomes of this partnership are expected to create new opportunities for both students and academic staff in the near future.
