2026-08-22 05-05 Cooperation Issues between UzSWLU and Kangwon National University Discussed
On August 21, 2026, a meeting was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University with Lee Minhi, International Cooperation Coordinator at Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea.
The meeting was attended by A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector of UzSWLU for International Cooperation; K. Yuldashev, Head of the International Cooperation Department; and F. Rashidova, Head of the Joint Educational Programs Coordination Department.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the launch of a joint 2+2 educational program in the field of “Korean Language + Global Business.”
The participants also exchanged views on the organizational and financial conditions for implementing programs in related fields of study on a franchise basis, as well as prospects for academic mobility and summer school programs for students.
The meeting also considered proposals to attract Korean students to UzSWLU and expand educational and academic mobility opportunities for them.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties outlined further areas of cooperation aimed at developing collaboration between the two universities in new fields, launching joint educational programs, and expanding academic exchange opportunities.
