Cooperation Meeting Held at Kahramanmaraş İstiklal University within the Turkey–Uzbekistan Language and Literature Exchange Program

On April 15, a cooperation meeting was held at Kahramanmaraş İstiklal University with the participation of the Uzbek delegation within the framework of the program “In the Trace of Ancient Words: Turkey–Uzbekistan Language and Literature Specialists Exchange Program.”

The meeting was attended by E. Moydinova, Head of the Department of Second Foreign Language at the 3rd Faculty of English of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Senior Lecturer D. Akhmedjanova, Associate Professor and project coordinator Muhammed İkbal Güler, as well as members of the delegation led by representatives of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov and the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.

 

 

During the event, memorandums aimed at developing academic and scientific cooperation between the universities were signed. These agreements provide for student and staff exchanges, joint scientific research, and the implementation of international projects.

The delegation also met with the Rector of Kahramanmaraş İstiklal University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Bakan, and exchanged views on future cooperation prospects.

Within the program, participants made a cultural visit to the city of Şanlıurfa. During the visit, they explored Göbeklitepe, one of the oldest known cult sites in human history, and also visited the famous Balıklıgöl complex.
