Cooperation with Ahmed Yassavi University is being established.

On June 18 of this year, UzSWLU vice-rector for international cooperation prof. Under the leadership of A. Nasirov, representatives of the university held a meeting at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmad Yassavi in Turkestan, Kazakhstan.

The meeting took place within the framework of the cooperation memorandum signed by the rector of UzSWLU I.M. Tokhtasinov and the rector of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Ahmad Yassavi J.A. Temirbekova. The participants of the meeting, Prof. A. Nasirov, Associate Professor D. Muitov, discussed a number of issues in order to develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of inter-university scientific research, training, education and socio-cultural activities.

Including:

- exchange of bachelors, masters, doctoral students;

- exchange of professors-teachers and scientific staff for short and long-term internships;

- to conduct joint scientific research with the involvement of professors and teachers, to participate in Erasmus projects together, to invite representatives of the parties to give lectures;

- to appoint assistant supervisors for doctoral students from among professors and teachers of the parties;

- cooperation in the training of highly qualified scientific-pedagogical personnel and specialists in areas of mutual interest;

- exchange of experience and information on educational-methodical works, educational plans and programs, ongoing events;

- organization of joint scientific and educational publications;

During the visit, the representatives of UzSWLU were informed about the history and life of the International Kazakh-Turkish University, the modern educational reforms being carried out in it, the life of students and its contingent, as well as the specializations prepared by the faculties. In addition, they got acquainted with the activities of the University library and the department of scientific and foreign affairs. At the meeting, talks were held with Turkish pedagogues and leaders.
