Cultural and Educational Event Held on the Occasion of Bangladesh Independence Day
On March 26, a large-scale cultural and educational event dedicated to the Independence Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the national holiday of the Bengali people was held in the event hall of the Hyatt Regency hotel in the capital city.
The event was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Bangladesh, Ministers of Culture and Sports, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps operating in our country, rectors of higher education institutions, prominent intellectuals, and faculty members.
From Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the Rector, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhhtasinov, Director of the Branch Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff at the university, Djamila Rustamovna Abduganiyeva, Associate Professor and well-known translator Begoyim Kholbekova, as well as Head of the Department of English Practical Disciplines, Professor Dildora Isroilova participated in the event.
Within the framework of the event, views were expressed aimed at strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, developing cultural cooperation, and expanding international relations. This meeting marked an important step toward further developing relations based on mutual respect and cooperation.
