2026-07-07 09-04 Day 2 of the UNESA Delegation's Summer School Program: Practical Seminar and Training Held at the TOEFL and TESOL Center
On July 3, 2026, as part of the second day of the Summer School program organized by the Faculty of English Philology No. 1 of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, a practical seminar and training session was held at the TOEFL and TESOL Center for the delegation from Surabaya State University (UNESA), Indonesia.
During the seminar, the delegation was introduced to the Center’s activities, modern English language teaching methodologies, preparation for international language proficiency examinations, and innovative approaches in the field of TESOL. Practical demonstrations on the use of digital educational technologies were also presented. In addition, participants discussed future prospects for academic cooperation between the two universities. The seminar served as an important platform for exchanging best practices and developing joint academic initiatives.
On the same day, the prestigious Labschool team from Indonesia visited educational institutions in Shaykhantakhur District:
- State Preschool Educational Institution No. 330: The guests observed the English language proficiency of children aged 6–7 and became acquainted with the institution’s teaching methodology. The children's language skills were highly appreciated, valuable experience was exchanged, and the visitors were presented with the educational manual "Play and Learn," developed by Z.A. Mirkasimova.
- Jahon School Private School: The school director introduced the guests to the institution’s educational system, the facilities provided for teachers and students, and the school’s achievements. The modern learning environment made a strong impression on the Labschool delegation.
Such visits represent an important step toward strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, exchanging educational experiences, and expanding future partnership opportunities between the two sides.
