Delegation from Kahramanoğlu Mehmetbey University (Türkiye) Visits UzSWLU

On October 16, 2025, a delegation from Türkiye’s Kahramanoğlu Mehmetbey University visited the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The delegation included Rector Dr. Mehmet Gavgali, International Relations Coordinator and Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Political Administration Dr. Umut Chil, as well as International Relations Coordinator and Lecturer at the Department of New Media and Communication Gulina Yusupova.

From UzSWLU, the meeting was attended by Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism A. Matyakubov, Deputy Dean D. Khoshimova, and Lecturer of the Department of Information Service and Public Relations D. Fayziyeva.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the following areas of cooperation:

• launching student and faculty exchange programs;

• providing grants for teachers and students in Turkish and other foreign language fields;

• organizing professional development courses for teachers of the Turkish language;

• arranging summer schools at UzSWLU for Turkish students.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutual academic, cultural, and educational cooperation.
A cooperation protocol between the two universities was also signed.
