Dissertation discussion held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On April 17, a dissertation discussion was held on the 7th floor of the rectorate building of Uzbekistan State World Languages University within the framework of a scientific seminar, both offline and via the ZOOM platform.

During the event, the dissertation of Fozilov Mirvokhid Mirsultonovich, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences under the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, was discussed. The topic of the dissertation is: “Verbalization of zoonyms in translations of E.S. Thompson’s works (based on English, Uzbek, and Russian languages).”

During the discussion, participants exchanged detailed views on the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, and the results obtained. Seminar participants also provided relevant recommendations and comments on the research work.
