English Club Session at School No. 299, Shaykhontohur District, Tashkent
On February 4, a new session of the English club was held at School No. 299 in the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent.
The session was attended by N. Egamberdiyeva, a faculty member of the Department of English Teaching Methodology at the Second Faculty of English at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, teacher F. Ashurova, and XT2-2214 group student Sevinch Bahromovna Yusupova.

The lesson focused on “CEFR: Common European Framework of Reference – Reading Session: MCQ, True/False/Not Given, Sentence Completion.” It was organized for a mixed group of 10th-grade students and aimed to develop their English reading skills, comprehension and analysis of texts, and ability to answer different types of questions correctly. Additionally, the session contributed to preparing students for the CEFR B2 level certification exam.
During the session, students received theoretical guidance on reading strategies aligned with CEFR requirements. Practical exercises focused on Multiple Choice Questions, True/False/Not Given, and Sentence Completion, reinforcing skills in identifying both explicit and implicit information from the text.
By the end of the lesson, students had a clear understanding of the key points to focus on when completing CEFR reading tasks and had the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in practice.
