English language club activities continue at Secondary School No. 104 in Sergeli district

On March 13, 2026, another lesson was conducted by Mohinbonu Mardonova, a teacher from the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology No.1.

The lesson was organized on the topic “Superlative Degree of Adjectives.” The main objective of the class was to explain the formation of the superlative degree of adjectives and to teach students how to apply it in practice. Within the topic, the rules for forming superlatives using -est, -iest, and most were explained. In addition, irregular forms such as good → best and bad → worst were illustrated with examples.

During the lesson, interactive exercises and group games were used, which increased students’ engagement. In oral activities, teams constructed sentences using superlatives and delivered short presentations. In written exercises, each student was given individual tasks, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.

Most students actively participated in the exercises; oral responses were clear and concise, while written tasks helped reinforce the topic.

As homework, students were assigned to write the superlative forms of 20 adjectives, compose one sentence with each of them, and prepare a short paragraph consisting of 5–7 sentences.

In conclusion, the lesson was productive and effective. Students strengthened their skills in using superlatives and showed increased interest in learning English.
