UzSWLU hosted an event titled “Towards Eco-Thinking: The Lonely Boat,” dedicated to fostering ecological awareness.
In connection with the declaration of 2025 as the Year of Environmental Protection and the ‘Green’ Economy, the Globus Theater Studio of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University organized a theatrical creative event titled “Towards Eco-Thinking: The Lonely Boat.” The event was held in cooperation with the faculty members of the Linguistics and English Literature Department of the Faculty of English Philology.
Honored guests included professors from the Department of Ecology and Green Resources, as well as the renowned poet of our country, Erkin Bozorov.
The purpose of the event was to develop ecological thinking among youth, promote environmental responsibility through literature and theatre, and artistically highlight the environmental crisis in the Aral Sea region.
Various stage performances, creative works by talented students, and poems performed by Erkin Bozorov added a unique charm to the program. The event left a strong impression on the audience and served as an important reminder of the need to protect nature.
