In 2024, the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan will mark the 30th anniversary of EU-Uzbekistan cooperation during Europe Day. Special festivities have been planned for this celebration.

The European Union festival, commemorating 30 years of partnership with Uzbekistan, will be open to the public on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 14:00 in the Tashkent Botanical Garden.

The program will launch with an exhibition showcasing projects funded by the European Union and its member states, the European Community.

Alongside the exhibition, the festival will feature live events tailored for families, children, and youth. Activities will include quizzes about the European Union, team games, art workshops, and various thematic zones—Mindscape, Sport, Dance, and Arts—symbolizing the cultural collaboration between the EU and Uzbekistan and fostering exchange and intellectual cooperation.

The festival and exhibition will culminate in a grand concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of EU-Uzbekistan cooperation, held at the Botanical Garden amphitheater at 17:30. The concert will showcase an exciting lineup of performers, including rising stars and well-known acts such as Sahar Group, Vasilisa Naypak, Elyorbek Meliboev, Sabina Mustaeva, Marokand Group, Hooligans Group, and DJ King Macarella.

The event is open to everyone, and admission is free.
