On December 23, the next Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the scientific seminar, the dissertation work of researcher Lapasov Nizomiddin Shakarboyevich was discussed. The dissertation was submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.00.06 — Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, entitled “The Linguoculturological Aspect of the Concept of Tolerance in Literary Texts in English and Uzbek.”

During the session, the researcher presented the results of his study, highlighted its scientific novelty, and provided well-grounded answers to the questions raised by the members of the scientific seminar.
The discussion concluded successfully, and the dissertation was recommended for the next stage.
