2026-06-18 12-46 Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion Held
On June 17, an extended departmental scientific discussion was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University regarding the dissertation of Ramziya Fakhriddinovna Ostonova entitled “A Comparative Study of Construction Terms in the English and Uzbek Languages”, submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies.
During the discussion, participants exchanged views on the objectives and tasks of the research, the distinctive features of construction terminology in English and Uzbek, the results of their comparative analysis, and the scientific and practical significance of the research findings.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants provided comments and recommendations regarding the dissertation and developed relevant conclusions aimed at further improving the scientific research.
