Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion of a Dissertation Held

On March 18, 2026, the Department of Russian Language and Teaching Methodology of the Faculty of Russian Philology at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University organized another extended departmental scientific discussion in both offline format and via the ZOOM platform.

As part of the discussion, the dissertation of Irina Yuryevna Kononova, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology (specialty 10.00.04 – Languages and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia), titled “Parenthetical Constructions as a Subject-Expressive Form of Syntax (Based on the Literary Prose of M. Tsvetaeva),” was reviewed.

The discussion was held in the spirit of open academic dialogue and meaningful debate. Department members expressed their scholarly opinions on the research and provided recommendations aimed at further improving the work.

The conducted scientific discussion once again confirmed the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of the dissertation.
