Financial Literacy Training Held at UzSWLU as Part of “Global Money Week – 2025”

 

 

On April 22, 2025, a practical financial literacy training session was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) as part of the international educational campaign “Global Money Week – 2025,” in collaboration with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

 

 

The training was led by Temur Shaydanov, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor at the Tashkent branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Third-year students of the university participated in interactive sessions under the theme “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow.”

 

 

Throughout the session, students gained valuable knowledge and skills in financial planning, saving culture, personal budgeting, financial security, and the smart use of digital financial services.

This event was aimed at enhancing students’ financial literacy, teaching them to make informed financial decisions, and supporting their personal financial stability — fully aligned with the core goals of the “Global Money Week” campaign.
