2026-09-07 05-26 First-Year Students Welcomed at the Faculty of English Language No. 2
A welcoming ceremony was held at the Faculty of English Language No. 2 of Uzbekistan State World Languages University for first-year students admitted to study in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The ceremony was opened by Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of the University, who warmly congratulated the new students on becoming university students and wished them success in their studies.
During the event, students admitted to the university with the highest results were congratulated by the Rector and presented with commemorative gifts.
The students’ parents also addressed the gathering and congratulated their children on their admission to the university. Parents who actively participated in the event were presented with commemorative gifts by the university administration.
“Enlightenment Lesson”
On the first day of the new academic year, an “Enlightenment Lesson” was organized for first-year students on the first topic of the “Future Hour” — “Together as One Homeland and One People, We Will Create a New Life and Future!”
During the lesson, students were provided with information about the essence and significance of independence, the development of our country, the role of young people in society, and their responsibility for the future.
Students were also introduced to the university’s internal regulations, the educational process, the activities of the faculty, and the opportunities available to students.
An open dialogue was held with the young people during the lesson, providing an opportunity to hear their views and suggestions.
At the end of the event, the new students were wished great success in their pursuit of knowledge and academic excellence.
