Friday declared as Sports Day at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On April 7, 2026, during a videoconference meeting chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, important tasks were set to elevate the field of physical education and sports to a new level and to widely engage the population in mass sports. Based on this initiative, Friday was designated as Sports Day at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

Accordingly, various sports competitions were held throughout the day among professors, staff, and students. Football, volleyball, and tennis matches were organized in a high-spirited atmosphere.

Sports activities also continued in the evening. A football match was held among teams of professors and staff, in which the university rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov actively participated. His presence on the field alongside the teams added a lively and dynamic spirit to the event.

Such sporting activities contribute to strengthening team cohesion and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle in everyday life.
