Important Cooperation Agreements Signed at the Uzbekistan–Spain Forum

The first Uzbekistan–Spain University Rectors Forum held in Madrid has taken academic cooperation between higher education institutions of both countries to a new level.

Within the framework of the forum, university leaders from Uzbekistan and Spain held a series of meetings and negotiations, exchanging views on expanding academic cooperation, launching joint educational programs, developing research activities, and enhancing student and faculty exchange programs.

During the discussions, agreements were reached to strengthen existing ties between universities and to define new areas of cooperation. Prospects for academic mobility, joint research projects, organization of international conferences, and the introduction of modern approaches to education were also discussed.

A cooperation memorandum was signed between Uzbek State World Languages University and Rey Juan Carlos University.

The memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of professors, researchers, and students, expand academic mobility programs, implement joint research projects, and strengthen educational and scientific cooperation between the two universities.

The parties also agreed to launch student and academic staff exchange programs, organize short- and long-term academic visits, and develop cooperation in joint international projects.
