"In accordance with the instruction of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 20, 2024, No. 03-RA 211-2654/37, and the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of October 10, 2024, No. 685-F, an international conference titled 'Transforming the Education System in New Uzbekistan, Improving Education Quality as the Ultimate Goal' is being held in Uzbekistan from October 21-26, 2024, as part of the International Cooperation Initiatives Week.

On October 23, the delegation from foreign countries, attending the conference, participated in the official opening and plenary session of the international conference titled 'Transforming the Education System in New Uzbekistan, Improving Education Quality as the Ultimate Goal,' after which they took part in meetings organized at higher educational institutions.

As part of the initiatives of the cooperation week organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the event aimed at transforming the education system in New Uzbekistan and implementing quality education programs also invited the rector of Algiers-2 University, Said Rakhmani, and the vice-rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Buribayeva Mainura Abiltayevna. In the second half of the day, a meeting was organized with these university leaders at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The main goal of the meetings was to enhance the quality of education in Uzbekistan, support talented young people, elevate scientific potential to a new level, establish an exchange of professors, teachers, and students between the two countries, organize joint seminars and training sessions, initiate short-term internships, implement projects within the framework of international cooperation, and make agreements to publish articles by university professors and teachers in journals such as Scopus or Times Higher Education."
