As part of the UK–Uzbekistan Education Forum, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, O. Yusupov, who is currently visiting the United Kingdom, paid visits to London Metropolitan University and University College London (UCL).

During the visit, official meetings were held with the management of these higher education institutions. Discussions focused on student and faculty exchange, translator training, professional development courses for teachers working in the field of translation theory and practice, as well as organizing joint scientific-practical conferences and seminar-trainings. Important agreements were reached as a result of these discussions.

During the meetings, O. Yusupov provided detailed information about the university’s activities, international cooperation, its standing in global rankings, efforts to improve the educational process, and the development of scientific research.

The parties exchanged views on prospects for cooperation and effective utilization of available opportunities. The visit resulted in practical agreements aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations.
