Section meetings held after the plenary session of the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

Following the plenary session of the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, participants attended sectional meetings held in the building of the Faculty of Russian Philology at the Sadriddin Ayni Tajik State Pedagogical University.

In his speech on the topic “Training of Pedagogical Personnel and Teaching Foreign Languages,” the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, I. Tuxtasinov, spoke about the effective reforms being implemented in the country to develop the education system, as well as the efforts aimed at training pedagogical staff and providing proper incentives for their work.

He also provided detailed information to forum participants about the process of training qualified specialists in 22 foreign languages, along with several other fields and specialties at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, one of the leading higher education institutions in the region, as well as about its current status and future prospects.

In addition, he shared his views on the extensive cooperation established with higher education institutions of foreign countries and the important tasks facing the university in this regard.

The forum participants highly appreciated the work being carried out in this field in the republic and emphasized their readiness to further develop cooperation and exchange experience.
