International Scientific and Practical Seminar

On April 24, 2026, an international scientific and practical seminar organized by the Uzbekistan State World Languages University was held at a high level.

The guest speaker of the seminar, Associate Professor at the Lithuanian Sports University and international expert Inga Staškevičiūtė-Butienė, delivered in-depth and practice-oriented insights based on her 15 years of experience.

During the seminar, the following key issues were discussed:
— selecting appropriate journals indexed in the Scopus database and strategies to avoid predatory journals;
— the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion) structure and academic writing standards for scientific articles;
— stages of applying for Erasmus+ projects and strategies for winning grants;
— mechanisms for establishing international cooperation, including networking, academic mobility, and collaboration with partner universities;
— building a personal academic brand (developing profiles on Google Scholar, ORCID, and Scopus).

At the end of the event, participants discussed further development of international scientific cooperation, implementation of joint projects, and expansion of academic mobility programs. A future visit by Inga Staškevičiūtė-Butienė was also planned.

The seminar served as an important platform for researchers, young scholars, and faculty members to gain valuable experience.
