2026-06-04 12-16 International Seminar-Training Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University
On June 3, 2026, a seminar-training session was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University with the participation of Christopher Korten, an internationally recognized educator and lecturer holding academic degrees from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
As part of the event, the guest speaker met with the faculty members of the Department of Practical Disciplines No. 1 of the Faculty of English Language 1 and conducted a seminar-training entitled “Back to Basics: Fundamentals of the Teaching Profession.”
During the training, Christopher Korten shared insights into advanced pedagogical practices and effective teaching approaches currently implemented in European universities. Participants also exchanged views on the application of innovative methods in the educational process, experiences of working with international students, and the role of educators in the modern learning environment.
The seminar-training contributed to enhancing the professional competence of faculty members, promoting the study of international best practices, and further strengthening the university’s international cooperation and academic partnerships.
