Job Fair for Graduating Students Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On June 9, a job fair was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University for graduating students with the aim of ensuring their employment, facilitating job placement, and strengthening their integration into the labor market.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Faculty of International Journalism, the Master’s Department, the Career Center, and the Registrar’s Office of the university.

The fair was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism, A. Matyakubov, who emphasized the importance of ensuring employment opportunities for graduates, guiding them toward suitable jobs, and enhancing the competitiveness of young professionals in the labor market.

The event was attended by Navbahor Darkhanova, Head of the Media Projects and Regional Cooperation Department of the Journalists’ Union of Uzbekistan, Amin Rustamov, First Deputy Chairman of the Youth Council of the UzLiDeP Youth City – Head of the Apparatus, as well as representatives of various organizations and enterprises.

More than 360 graduating students participated in the fair, engaging directly with employers, exploring available job vacancies in their respective fields, and obtaining essential information for their future careers.

Within the framework of the event, 16 organizations and companies operating in education, journalism, and other sectors offered a total of 132 job vacancies. Participants learned about available positions, internship programs, and cooperation opportunities, as well as detailed information on recruitment procedures, working conditions, and professional development prospects.

At the conclusion of the fair, preliminary agreements were reached between several graduates and employers. The event contributed to youth employment, professional orientation, and the strengthening of cooperation between the education system and the labor market.
