Job Fair for Graduating Students Held at UzSWLU

On June 4, 2026, a large-scale job fair was organized at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) for graduating students, aimed at supporting their employment, facilitating job placement, and strengthening their integration into the labor market. The event was held at a high level in cooperation between the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology and the University Registrar’s Office.

The fair was opened by the University Rector, I.M. Tuxtasinov, who emphasized the importance of ensuring graduate employment, guiding students toward suitable job opportunities, and enhancing the competitiveness of young professionals in the labor market.

 

 

The event was attended by Nuriddin Farkhodovich Nurullaev, Head of Department of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, well-known commentator and holder of the “Dostlik” Order Mirzakhakim Tokhtamirzaev, as well as representatives of various organizations and companies. The guests familiarized themselves with ongoing efforts to support youth employment, develop graduates’ professional skills, and align them with modern labor market requirements.

Around 430 graduating students actively participated in the fair, gaining the opportunity to directly communicate with employers, explore available vacancies in their fields, and obtain important information for their future careers.

Within the framework of the event, 12 reputable organizations and companies presented a total of 120 job vacancies across education and other sectors. Participants explored job offers, internship programs, and cooperation opportunities, receiving detailed information about hiring procedures, working conditions, salaries, and career development prospects.

 

 

At the conclusion of the fair, preliminary agreements were reached between several graduates and employers. The event played an important role in supporting youth employment, guiding their professional development, and strengthening cooperation between education and the labor market.
