2026-11-05 09-04 JOB FAIR HELD AT UZSWLU
On November 5, a Job Fair was held at the Faculty of English Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU). The event aimed to support the employment of final-year students and graduates, guide them towards suitable job opportunities, and strengthen cooperation between the university and employer organizations.
The event was opened by UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov. In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of promoting youth employment, unlocking young people's professional potential, training competitive specialists in fields that are in high demand in the labor market, and developing cooperation between higher education institutions and employers.
The event also featured speeches by Elyor Alamuratov, Director of IELTS House educational center, and Shokhrukh Khatamov, a representative of Wise School, a non-governmental educational institution. They provided information about the opportunities available to young professionals, current labor market requirements, career development prospects, and vacancies at their respective organizations.
The job fair was jointly organized by the Faculty of English Philology, the Career Center, and the Registrar's Office. Representatives of more than 10 public and private organizations, banking and financial institutions, educational centers, and service-sector companies took part in the event.
During the fair, final-year students and graduates had the opportunity to communicate directly with employers, explore available vacancies, submit their CVs, and receive advice on employment opportunities and professional development.
The event served as an important platform for establishing effective communication between graduates and employers, expanding youth employment opportunities, and further strengthening the university's ties with the labor market.
