Leading Organization Dissertation Discussion Held at UzSWLU

On December 26, 2025, at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, within the framework of the Extended Department Meeting, a discussion of a leading organization dissertation was held.

The seminar reviewed the dissertation of Dilafruz Shakhriyorxonova Amonova, a researcher from Samarkand State University of Foreign Languages, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology, specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, entitled “The Poetics of Korean and Uzbek Women’s Prose (on the works of Pak Kyong Ni and Saida Zunnunova).” The discussion was conducted jointly by the Departments of World Literature and Korean Philology.

During the discussion, the researcher provided detailed information on the conducted scientific research, its relevance, and scientific novelty, and gave reasoned and comprehensive answers to questions from seminar members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the dissertation was recommended for open defense according to established procedures.
