Media Literacy — A Requirement of the Times
The Head of the Department of Media Linguistics and Communication at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Dilfuza Teshabayeva, actively participated in the international conference titled “Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence and Media Literacy,” organized by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku.
Leading scholars and media professionals from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the United States, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and other countries took part in the conference. During the event, current issues related to the development of media literacy, the creation of reliable information in the digital environment, and the role and importance of artificial intelligence technologies in media content production were discussed.
The international conference became an important professional platform for exchanging experience, analyzing modern media processes, and expanding academic cooperation.
