Meeting

Representatives of the Spanish delegation, consisting of Mr. Gonzalo Fournier Condo, Ambassador of Spain to the Russian Federation, Mr. Carlos Alberto Martínez Ferrero, Honorary Consul of Spain in Uzbekistan, and the famous Spanish-Peruvian writer Santiago Rafael Roncagliolo Lomann, visited UzSWLU today.

A meeting was organized with the participation of teachers and students of Spanish language groups and guests. The event was opened by the rector of the university I. Tokhtasinov, at the same time Ambassador Gonzalo Fournier Kondo and Spanish writer Santiago Roncagliolo spoke about Spanish writers and poetry.

At the end of the meeting, students answered the questions they were interested in.

For information: Currently, the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan occupies a leading position in international cooperation and scientific research in teaching Spanish language and culture. About 2,500 students are studying Spanish as a primary and second foreign language with great interest.
