On June 20, the rector of UzSWLU I. Tukhtasinov received university leaders and professors going to participate in 150-hour advanced training courses at the University of Portsmouth in the UK.

During communication, while staying abroad, it is worthwhile to represent Uzbekistan and the university, study advanced teaching methods, as well as the rich experience of the partner university, get acquainted with the scientific potential and use it effectively. Upon returning from the trip, instructions were given on the widespread use of the acquired experience in the educational process. At the same time, it was emphasized that it was necessary not to fall under the influence of various movements and groups, and to strictly follow the rules of the country’s internal order.

Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov said that it is necessary to effectively use advanced training courses and try to publish scientific articles.

In addition, tasks were set to further develop cooperative relations with the University of Portsmouth, establish student exchange, attract native speakers to UzSWLU, and make proposals for organizing summer camps for students. At the end of the event, good wishes were expressed to everyone.
