Meeting Held at UzSWLU with Participants of the “Uzbekistan–Türkiye” International Project
A meeting was organized at Uzbekistan State World Languages University with representatives of a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye and participants of the international project “Uzbekistan–Türkiye: The Color of Words – A Linguistic and Cultural Journey.”

The event was attended by the Rector of the university, Professor Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Abdurakhim Abdumutalipovich Nosirov, the administration of the university and academic lyceum, faculty members, project coordinators, and students visiting from Türkiye.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on further strengthening educational, scientific, and cultural-humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, developing cooperation in teaching the Turkish and Uzbek languages, creating a dictionary of brotherly peoples, organizing student exchange programs, and promoting the exchange of experience among educators.

The participants also discussed prospects for developing long-term cooperation with educational institutions in the cities of Izmir and Ankara, as well as opportunities for implementing joint scientific and educational projects.
At the conclusion of the event, the bright memory of one of the project’s founders, the late Melike Bahar Tike Tetik, who worked as a Turkish language teacher at the university and academic lyceum, was honored with deep respect.
