2026-06-22 01-37 Meeting Held with Representatives of the London Post Editorial Team
On June 19, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with the participation of London Post journalist Raza Syed and Akmal Nazarov, Head of the Marketing and PR Department of the Uzbekcosmos Agency.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University, I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism A. Metyakubov, and the Rector’s Adviser on Information Policy and Press Secretary O. Ibragimov.
During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for cooperation between USUWL and the London Post editorial team. Particular attention was given to creating opportunities for students to undertake online and offline internships at the publication, regularly publishing academic and journalistic articles by faculty members and students, organizing master classes and seminars with international experts, and implementing joint research projects in the fields of journalism, media, and communications.
The parties also discussed the outcomes of the International Investment Forum and the interview given by the University Rector to London Post.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation and continue practical work in the identified areas.
