2026-07-23 10-06 Meeting Held with Students on the “Georgian Language and Culture” Certificate Program
A Zoom meeting dedicated to the organization of the six-week “Georgian Language and Culture” Certificate Program was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages based on an official letter received from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Head of the International Relations Department Kh. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Translation U. Yuldoshev, and students selected to participate in the program.
Prior to the meeting, participants had been selected according to the established eligibility criteria. During the discussion, the parties reviewed the program requirements outlined in the official letter from Tbilisi State University, the academic schedule, preparation of the required documents, travel arrangements, and other issues related to students' participation in the program.
The meeting also included a question-and-answer session between the university administration and the students. Participants received detailed information about the program, its learning format, travel arrangements, and accommodation conditions.
The certificate program will run for six weeks and consists of a total of 80 academic hours. The online component is scheduled for 27 July – 14 August 2026, while the on-site component in Tbilisi will take place from 17 August to 4 September 2026. The final examination will be held on 4 September, and cultural activities are planned for 5–6 September.
A total of 10 students from the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages are expected to participate in the program. Tbilisi State University will cover accommodation, museum admission fees, local transportation, and the services of professional tour guides.
At the conclusion of the meeting, students were advised to complete all required documentation on time, prepare thoroughly for the trip, and comply with all program requirements throughout their participation.
