On September 23, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with six foreign Arabic language specialists. The event was attended by University Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, and Head of the Department of Arabic Philology K. Qodirova.
The guests included invited specialists from Egypt, Algeria, and Iraq — Sayid Muhammad Ahmad Kurayim, Muhammad Ali Abdul Wahid Iwad, Al-Zubaydi Ahmad Jasim, Nabila Nabil Tohi Kandil, Hashem Esmail Hammam Ali, and senior lecturer Obaid Mohammad Abdelhalim.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the conditions created for foreign specialists, students’ interest in the Arabic language, and their level of proficiency.
Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov emphasized the need to improve the quality of education, organize meaningful lessons, and train qualified professionals. He also highlighted the importance of developing textbooks and supplementary materials, organizing extracurricular clubs, and expanding cooperation with higher education institutions in Arab countries.
The university leadership affirmed its commitment to supporting the work of foreign specialists and creating more favorable working conditions for them.
