On September 23, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with English language teachers from India. This dialogue served as another vivid example of the university’s expanding international cooperation in the field of education.
The event was attended by Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, and Head of the International Relations Department Kh. Yuldashev.
Among the guests were Indian English language specialists — Alam Mohammad Musavvir from the Faculty of Translation Studies and Sadiq Ali Muhammad from the English Language Faculty No. 2. They spoke about their professional activities and work with students.
During the discussion, the living and learning conditions at the university and in the dormitories were reviewed, as well as students’ progress in English language acquisition and potential future initiatives. The guests proposed increasing practical sessions, enhancing students' speaking skills, and encouraging active participation in international competitions.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Indian teachers expressed their satisfaction with working at the university and thanked the administration for its attention and support. In turn, the university leadership encouraged their participation in academic research and suggested publishing in Scopus and other prestigious journals.
