Meeting with Representatives of Malang State University (Indonesia)

On November 27, 2025, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with a delegation from Malang State University (Indonesia). The delegation included Dr. Utomo Pujiyanto, Head of the Rankings Department, and Ahmad Yogi, staff member of the International Relations Department.

From UzSWLU, participants included Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department H. Yuldashev, Head of the International Rankings Department B. Nishanaliev, Head of the Department of Second Foreign Languages E. Muydinova, and Malay language instructor A. Yuldashev.

During the meeting, various areas of cooperation were discussed, including student and faculty exchanges, organization of summer schools and student internships, involving lecturers for teaching, sharing experiences on international rankings, implementing joint research projects, participating in international conferences, and conducting online lectures.

Representatives of Malang State University highlighted the availability of grants for students and PhD candidates, including fully or partially funded grants by the Indonesian government, and emphasized their readiness to provide all necessary conditions for UzSWLU students.

In turn, I. Tukhtasinov mentioned the possibility of providing grants for Malang State University students as well.

At the end of the meeting, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding and agreed to develop a Roadmap to initiate practical activities.
