On May 8, officials from the Faculty of English Philology, led by Dean G. Ergasheva along with deputy deans, tutors, and students, paid a visit to Anatoly Burykin's home. Mr. Burykin, a veteran of the Second World War and a labor veteran residing in the "Birlik" neighbourhood, Uchtepa district, Tashkent city, was honored during this visit.

During the gathering, Mr. Burykin shared his experiences of hardship during his childhood, including being orphaned at a young age and his service in defense of the homeland.

He also imparted valuable advice to those present, urging them to love and honor their country and to serve it faithfully always.

As a token of appreciation and respect, Anatoly Burykin and his family members were presented with gifts at the conclusion of the visit.
