"Minister's Cup" Sports Competitions Launched in Tashkent

To implement the tasks set during a video conference chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on promoting mass sports and increasing physical activity among the population, the "Minister’s Cup" sports competitions were organized.

This tournament was held among the heads of higher education institutions in mini-football, table tennis, and chess.

On March 4, the official opening ceremony of the competition took place at the sports complex of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

 The rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, participated in the table tennis tournament, demonstrating his interest in sports and his skills.

The "Minister’s Cup" was organized to promote sports among university rectors, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen friendly relations.

Winning teams and active participants were duly awarded.
