Monitoring the Research Activities of Doctoral Students at the Department of World Literature

On June 17, 2025, the Department of World Literature at Uzbekistan State World Languages University conducted a monitoring session to evaluate the research activities of doctoral students and independent researchers affiliated with the department during the first half of the year.

During the session, the Head of Department, Doctor of Philology, Professor G. I. Khalliyeva, held individual interviews with each doctoral student, analyzing their academic progress, research achievements, and the status of planned tasks. Emerging challenges were discussed, and essential academic and methodological guidance was provided.

Professor F. D. Sapaeva, responsible for doctoral affairs within the department, also participated in the session, reviewed the semi-annual reports, and offered relevant methodological recommendations.

In conclusion, participants were given key advice on organizing research systematically, focusing on methodological approaches, and improving the quality of their dissertations.
