Navruz Celebration at the Angren Faculty of UzSWLU

A festive event dedicated to Navruz — the holiday of spring, renewal, and new beginnings — was held at the Angren Faculty of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The celebration, organized on March 27, was conducted in a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. The main highlight of the event was students’ creative performances and the demonstration of national traditions and values.

Regional cultures in one place
One of the most engaging parts of the celebration was the “Presentation of Regions” prepared by students. Each group showcased the unique features of different regions of Uzbekistan, including:
— customs and traditions;
— traditional clothing;
— table setting culture and national cuisine.

The faculty courtyard turned into a colorful miniature map reflecting the rich diversity of the entire country. Lively dances, national music, and energetic performances created a true spring festive mood for everyone present.

Navruz — a symbol of unity and harmony
This event was not only a celebration but also a reflection of students’ respect and appreciation for national identity and cultural heritage.
